Was told the caller was a surveyor and that he was checking about our loft insulation. He seemed to have had access to the time we had it done and also our address. He asked when it was done and was it part of the Government scheme as there was a problem with fibreglass. The line then went dead, but the call was still active as I could see the raised phone sign on my handset Very strange and also very worrying! Didn t give any further info info and hung up as soon as I realised.

Car accident phone spam.... i told them i was in a car accident... when i was playing scalextric - a car was coming around a bend... flew off.... took out my eye, bounced across the room, took our my TV screen... bounced off... hit the dog... who.... did a whoopsie on the carpet.. so i had to call the deep cleaners out to clear up the mess... car accidents eh!!!

An American sounding woman who claimed that I had purchased and had been charged £300 for an i-phone from Amazon. Told to press 1 if I had not made such a purchase but I put the phone down. Had a call making the same claim an hour or so earlier from 09366142072. Likewise I put the phone down.
