SCAM / SPAM - claiming to be HMRC, and if do not press 1 to be connected to their advisors, they will issue a warrant for your arrest. This is clearly a SCAM

Claims to be British Telecom and that all calls and data services will be terminated unless you press one, otherwise press two. The idiots behind this have never heard of caller ID, which shows a geographic number, which is not something that BT would use. Secondly, they talk about data services, which is not a term that is used in the UK for landlines. Thirdly, they were phoning on a number that is not even associated with BT!

Called asking about a car accident I d had. Knew my name and address but had no further details. Said he "sort of" worked for the government to check if insurance companies were handling claims correctly.
