Calling 6 times a day, don t want their overpriced windows

Unknown as was blocked on my Android phone by Calls Blacklist PRO (any unknown number not whitelisted or in my contacts will be rejected to voicemail) NOTE that 0116 0xx may be a call centre (have to dial all the digits so may be used for 03xxx 08xxx 09xxx numbers and unusual to see in incoming call, so might have been error in config or a foreign scammer with made-up invalid number

Foreign accent. Said he wasn t selling anything, but it was a survey for his company. I said I don t answer surveys and replaced phone. Obtained number by dialling 1471.

I received two missed calls on same day from UK numbers (I am in Ireland with an Irish mobile) One already has a long complaint file against them on tellows.co.uk and was classed as a questionable recruitment company, but this one has no comments yet. However I did find this number on two other systems with comments about them trying to do a very persistent sale of Google Adwords and SEO services. I will be ignoring any further calls, particularly since they aren t leaving messages.

I would just like to say I have had my system installed today after looking at different alarm systems, I found this system to be the best on the market with the most competitive prices, I also would recommend this company even though they do cold call

Indian caller, said she was calling from Windows helpdesk - surely it would be called Microsoft Helpdesk, anyway the scammers just hung up when I started laughing at them. They really annoy me because they prey on the weak and vulnerable in our society.

Multiple calls with silence at the end of the phone. Looking at this feedback requires a one word action... "blocked"

Subcontinental-sounding told me I needed a box to stop nuisance calls - two pounds fifty a month for three years! Caller Display does it much cheaper and I don t usually answer calls from 0845- numbers. Curious this time.

Cost trap called back to a recorded message, I disconnected after 3 seconds and got charged 41p. Message said in a computer voice that its the local boiler cleaning company... Don t think so

Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.
