Called today asking for miss ***** so asked what it was about and they hung up. Not going to ring back as could cost a fortune on connection. Another site said they can use "fake numbers" making it seem local

SCAMazon prime. IPhone 7 purchase for £399.99. Press 1 for us to try to get you to let us scam you out of cash by getting you to download a remote desktop software, then we buy gift cards on amazon that's meant to be your refund. Whoever had a refund by buying yourself gift cards? If you ask them for your email address they can't give it to you. Don't fall for it, just keep the chatting so they can't scam others. Had one lot on the phone for 2 days after telling them I knew its a scam after 5 minutes
