Auto call, said from hm revenue and to press 1 to connect to a agent, when I said about it the 'agent' hung up on me.
Something about a £500 amazon purchase confirmation for an I phone. I hung up ASAP.

Didn t answer as didn t recognise caller. Looked it up on the net, thank goodness, getting fed up with these scammers especially as the elderly etc. fall for them, something must be done.

Number search comes up as great britain??? femail recorder call saying my amazon account is going to be charged with XX ammount, press 1 to speak to your amazon advisor, so I pressed BLOCK as they were talking bamboozle.
Caller put the phone down when I asked who it was but when I redialled the number it the call was answered with a message to say it was the National Hearing Clinic!!!!
I think a scam as he was said fixing our internet as it had a noisy lady talking on it. Saying to get help. We rang. But u usually wait ages to get someone how was he that fast? Then at end was asking for details I saw that the cost on the screen was £199.00 I rang my daughter and her husband asked if he had a company address. He was vague about that. So we hung up. He by then was ringing my husband on his phone.. we are in our 70s. He also mentioned this number too. 08001021101
