Rang and hung up as I didn't speak so suggest it's a voice activated number
claming to be Microsoft technical support.... asking my reference number and all the stuffs. I got really suspicious and ask his name and numbers... well didnt take me long to figure out hes a fake and I block the number

They immediately went into "are you the person who deals with advertising". I told her this was a cold call and we don t deal with these. Since she didn t know who to speak to, it was clearly a cold call. She wanted to keep on talking but I stopped her!

Showed up as international call and the voice was a transatlantic male one. He sounded like a recording even though he wasn't, and was very slick - when I corrected him for addressing me by my husband's name he said he was 'a little dyslexic' to try to wrong-foot me. He tried to tell me about a door and window replacement scheme. As he knew my address I asked him to write to me about it - of course he won't!

We asked them to stop calling and they continued to phone another 10 times in 5 minutes. These following calls were silent calls.
