Anglian Water cold call to see if you would recommend them to others and participate in a survey. Very funny, if you think about it, as there is no option! Nothing to worry about, but very silly and time-wasting at the same time.

Definitely HSBC fraud department. It s a separate call centre to the central one as I was taken aback at the different "customer handling" of the fraud dept i.e. not as warm as the central team. It s a genuine number, just avoids the queues of the central number you d normally call.

Called to say I owe lots of money. Couldnt say who i owed the money to (due to data protection - LOL) but read out my details - address and date of birth was wrong. Yet they claimed they were from the government!
