unrecognised number when trying to ring back scam

When I answered the call, I heard an intake of breath like the caller was going to speak, then the line went dead.

I just don t answer the phone when I see a number that isn t registered with me as 10 out of 10 times it is a cold call like this one. I do not know why people ring them back.

someone using a computer voice system, clearly a scam, claiming regarding a car accident I was supposingly in recently, I was not in any car accedenyt in the last two years.

Claimed to be from the postcode lottery saying I had won, since I don’t do the lottery I hung up on the call suspecting to be a SCAM
Fraud - Not sure who this was but when I answered there was nothing apart from a "call centre" background noise, when I said hello again they hung up. Appears to originate from India.
