Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12696048xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing - Life Insurers 'Review Department'. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? Said it was pra group asking for a name that is only accociated with ee (phone contract) no where else have i just it. Ive had this number since the days of T-Mobile when it used to be on pay as you go. Only swapprd it to pay monthly at Christmas and what do you know 41 missed calls since the end of April. before you say they didn t do a credit check because I ve been a T-Mobile customer for so long. So they ve never had my full proper name this is the only place where I used the name they re asking for. ba

Seems to come from Cardiff, I had a missed call on my mobile so tried to call them back, but the line was dead - probably one-way gateway of some call centre? Who is it, did someone speak with real person behind this number?

It seems that this number is associated with on-line scammers purporting to be from Microsoft in Reading. Um, a Glasgow number in reading, I don't think so! They become very abusive when contradicted or challenged. The latest representative called into question my lineage and suggested that I performed carnal acts with my mother. Slanderous in the extreme!

I then told him I worked in I.T and I fix computers for a living. and asked him where he was from. he said Leicester. as I live 20 mins from where he said he was, I told him I was coming to see him. he panicked and put the phone down.
