Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.
Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. I received a 3 voicemail today, 17-03-2023 at 12:05 pm. They said: "Call 123 or +447782333123 to listen" This is not the first time. I found your reviews and ignored it.
SCAM: they claim to be representing a client who is planning a wholesale takeover of Vodafone plc, but won't give their name of their client's name. The potential price they claim you could get for your shares puts the company valuation at many multiples of its real value.
Suspected spam from Birmingham.
This number was used by Lloyds Bank from Christchurch branch asking questions about financial welfare. Do not ask personal details. Feels strange after the call.
