This was a cold call from Tom stating that previous loft insulation was subjct to condensation and there was a free inspection. Please explain as where you obtained my phone number, as under current British Law it is unlawful to make unsolicited for which fines can be instigated. Received a call at 8.00am stating it was Michael calling from Microsoft Security about my computer. Microsoft Security team DO NOT ever call customers about their computers. This is a total SCAM and needs to be stopped.

Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.

SCAM: I had trouble connecting Alexa to my 89 Yr old mum's Internet. I saw a website that looked genuine for Alexa Amazon. Foolishly I allowed them to have remote access. They pretended that my mum's Internet had a hidden virus. He remotely went to Amazon and pretended to be surprised when the cost of an Internet protection gadget came around £1000. That's when he offered that Alexa Amazon could do it for £249. He definitely had a script. I was unsure and asked for a phone number to call him back.

Watch Out! I called this number from my BT landline and got billed for £4.71 plus vat.
Called me at 9.11pm tonight. Didn't get to the phone quick enough, so dialled 1471. Didn't recognise the number and too many digits.
