Said they were Mcafee support, handling issue relating to our home "network" which would mean all devices using network (he meant router) would shortly become infected and stop working. Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam

Recorded message supposedly from BT saying that there had been suspicious activity on my phone line and internet connection, "Press 1 to speak to someone to resolve this issue". I work in a church office and I'm sure this was a potential scam.
My phone & broadband provider is TalkTalk Business. I got a call from this number and the person I spoke to introduced herself as calling to do "Market Research" on behalf of TalkTalk Business to gauge the level of their customers satisfaction.
