This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.

company called saying that they was from my life insurance company and was due to review my policy . when said that if wanted wanted to change i would call the provider they said dont understand and argued. rang my provider they said never heard of them and you ring them to update or review any policies they dont ring you reporting it , So possibly a scam . Called & said he is from BT Openreach about my internet, which we do not use, first tried to confirm who I am- when I told him we do not have internet in this house he immediately put the phone down on me!!! Had a missed call from 01737217617 to my landline and when I tried to ring the number back using my mobile, it said this number was invalid.
This number belongs to a company called Intelling Ltd based at Wythenshawe (Manchester) and Belfast. An O2 customer service representative confirmed that it is an O2 number, or rather that O2 uses this company to sell its services. The Managing Director at Intelling is a chap called Phil Morgan. You can contact Phil (and I suggest you do) by calling 0161 902 3721. My advice is to continue calling that number until you are put through to Phil.
