Called today. When i asked for name to be confirmed due to a strong accent the lady suddenly changed her name to Kate Brown. Very forceful to try to confirm my name. She used an old name so I said it wasn’t me. I said don’t call again and she said she would call again.

Indian accent, claiming to be from O2 offering 30% discount on your plan. They try to trick you by submitting a 'forgotten password' command onto your account. You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. They try to convince you that's the 'discount activation code' and ask you to give it to them, presumably to hack your account while on the phone to you. Do not give them anything! Fraud
I was phoned by 01425615425 today telling me they were from bt and they were going to cut my internet off because fraud is being committed from my internet connection this of course is untrue and it is fraudulent phone call and when I said your lying it's a scam they were rather rude and hung up on me
