Just got a call now to my phone that is SUPPOSED to be TPS excluded and ex directory (I will be having words with talktalk in a minute !!) they asked for my wife by name then went into some spiel about PPi claims. Scamming scum.

SCAM Claimed to be a call from Amazon saying large puchase had been made against my account , and to press 1 if I did not make it .

Claimed to be calling from BT tech department. Stated that there was a problem with my internet connection and speed. Surprisingly when challenged they put the phone down.
SCAM - asking for bank details saying that money has been taken from my bank and to cancel or confirm. Questioned which bank and they couldn’t tell me. They put the phone down on me after I confronted them.
Fraud Call pretending to be the tax office

No one speaks when I answer and they hang up.
Caller (in a thick Indian / Asian accent) asked by name for a previous user of my number. When I said I wasn t that person and enquired as to who he was, he got very abusive and terminated the call. Almost certainly a scam of some sorts.
Bullying Prevention Scam - will ask for money at the end.
