SCAM Fraud Claimed to be HMRC saying a letter had been returned that was sent to me then I hung up. I highly doubt they’d contact me via a mobile phone number!

Struggled with English and claimed to be from AA Legal Department stating I was in an accident and have an outstanding claim to collect. These callers are nothing but a pain and make answering real calls a prblem as you do not know what you shall have at the other end of the line.

Mother in law was phoned today purporting to be her back, stating someone was trying to defraud her account. Checked with bank and confirmed call was fraudulent. I called number and this was a clear fraud as I asked for a different bank and they stated they were that bank.
Lady called saying she was from EE (my service provider and knew my surname). She said I was going to be rewarded for being a loyal customer, but then asked me how much my previous month s bill was. I told her I couldn t remember, and asked why she couldn t tell me. She mentioned something about security. I gave her a rough estimate. Then she asked how I paid for my bill.
