Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. Called me today number came up as Sandford abattoir. When I answered guy said he was from EE. Didnt trust him ended the call.

I rang the number 01634250475 & noted when I checked with "who called me" that it stated it was Halifax Bank. So I rang the number and lady with foreign accent answered but she was not employed by Halifax bank so I put the phone down. Hope this helps somewon.

This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.
Didn't trust them. Called about cryptocurrency and blockchain.

SCAM - An automated Voice claiming to be from Amazon & my Amazon Prime Account was going to be auto-renewed. After hearing this I immediately ended the call. I am now getting getting REALLY ANNOYED with the amount of SCAM calls I've been receiving lately (all from different numbers) & feel I need to try and let other people know about it. I felt the need to report this number in case any elderly or vulnerable or/and elderly become a victim from a call from this number. I hope it helps report

call from this number claiming to be Bank Security saying there had been two transactions on my account. One for £700 for Amazon and the other for £2k on an international money transfer. Absolute scam. Probably not the real number.

Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.
