SCAM as it's about nonsense saying legal action something about a letter being sent back and something about the queen it was odd as I don't usually get phone calls like that not since a few days ago and it's beginning to annoy me as receiving phone calls like I did today has only been a distraction and it has overwhelmed me to my limits I hope it stops soon as I'm not so sure how much more I can take of this
Said he was from EE - offering me a 30% discount on my phone bill for being such a good customer- I just had to provide them with confirmation of my details (That old chestnut!). I'm not even with EE. Scam!

Text message from this number claiming to be my child in a dire situation involving a smashed phone, lack of money etc. No name given and clearly a fake message. Did not provide my bank details.
SCAM answered the call never said a word and got "John from The Solar Panel Company" he "believes I am the home owner" gave him the silent treatment. he hung up seconds later
Claiming to be BT who do not provide my internet calling about my internet problems, specifically the public IP. They claim it is public because of hacker which is a lie. Want to connect to your computer ultimately. NEVER let this happen.

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.

Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.

Awaiting callback from my GP when this call came. Male caller talked about a free medical emergency pendant, but implied that there was a paid membership. It increasingly sounded like a sales call and I couldn't really see how this related to my medical issue. He asked about my willingness to give a testimonial, talking about medical response times, peace of mind for family - I was becoming further mystified as to why I was being called. Suspicious.

Returning the call has a message that says "thank you for calling In Credit Management". They have no website and call from multiple different numbers, as such this is likely a scam. Block the number. If it was a genuine collection agency then they would at least have an internet presense and would not operate out of an oversees call centre.

Automated message supposedly to be from my bank about charges to my account, the first for £700. I hung up as sure it's a scam. My bank doesn't contact me this way, or in this manner. Double checked and all is fine. My bank has been very good so far at spotting fraudulent debits. This looked like a local number so it could appear legitimate. I expect there was a number to press to connect with scammer. Despicable people.
