When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. This is a scam number as they have called my house phone number today saying my bank cards have 2 transactions going out,that are not recognised, little do they know my house phone number has never been given to anyone apart from my sister in law who lives abroad as we don't use it we use our mobiles. So this would not be linked to any of our banks, and its an auto mated message.

Automated woman's voice leaving message on answerphone saying that there have been 2 charges on credit card, £300 for Amazon and £1100 for another service. After investigation no such charges appeared. This is a unsolicited call and scam. Beware and block this number.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
