This number tx me today saying “dad I have broke my fone can you WhatsApp me on this number…….I asked family they said it’s a scam.

SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. The moment I said that we bank with NATWEST not HSBC, he put the phone down straight

07979532983 called 10May23 at t1:21hrs left msg on ansa machine same recorded message as was received ON 05/05/2023: 020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". AMAZON caller women called Judith (clearly not someone whose name is Judith) regarding an I Phone purchase in my Amazon account. Wanted to know what phone I had for security purposes - Hung Up on Judith as a wrongun

11pm call on 24/4/22 from a heavy-breathing male who did not speak.

Scammers said that I was interested in trading, but it was a long time ago. Did not sound professional at all.

Scam Indian call centre, says internet is broken and tries to get you to download a remote access computer program so they can take over your computer and then claim a ransom from you. Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

SCAM 01967 401277 ranf 2 days in a row at around 10am. No one answers, but you can here something going on in the background, like in the call centres atht have multiple hones on dial at once. I hung up straight away and blocked the number. Possible HMRC scam.
