yes, as per all the other comments, this is Addenbrookes appt automated reminder. Rang my home and mobile several times but of course, no message. I have been waiting for an appointment time and date to come through and GP has chased on several occasions. The message stated it was a reminder that I had an appointment on (date and time given and Department). I had to keep pressing option to hear again as not surprisingly, I didn t have my diary to hand. I eventually accepted but of course I do not have

When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. I was called by an indian man with poor command of the english language claiming they were from a lifestyle company or such like and also had my full name and address, and they said they had obtained this information from a free database, once I said I wasnt prepared to answer any questions they hung up. Blocked.

I ve had the number call my mobile several times and never answered it. They never leave a message which makes me think it was a sales call anyway. I tend to get a lot of unwanted calls from recruitment agencies and wondered if it was one of those.

Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages.
