This is a scam automated call with a false notification of fraudulent use being made of Amazon account.

Indian male called me regarding computer equipment he said I had pre ordered to the tune of over £1000. From Amazon I never made any ordered. Highly dangerous scam.
On answering the call the caller said my electricity account was due to expire. It is not, in fact it has another 12 months to run from February 2023. The caller spoke with an accent. Due to this the call was ended.
Had the same as Judit when trying to call back after missing the call, which first showed up as an 0113 number in Edinburgh. Rang again today on this number and I answered: Indian guy with thick accent saying I had a car on finance in the last 8 years. Obviously this applies to most people. I just hung up. This occurred the day after listing my car for sale, so it's obviously a scam targeting those selling cars on Gumtree or Autotrader. I doubt they could tell you anything about yourself if you asked.

I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.

Fraud : An automated message claiming to be from HMRC and claiming to be initiating legal action against me. An Indian accented call centre worker then asked how she could help me and I spoke briefly before she told me to shut up 3 times and ended the call.

I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. I believe this is a number possibly from Pure Cremation. I you have shown interest in arranging your own future cremation via your phone used and did not do so they will call you back on this number and another. I did not answer.
