The guy (very strong asian accent but his name is "Jason") said he was from my mobile provider, so I asked who, and he said EE, to which I replied I am not with EE as it doesn't work well in my area, he then said I was lying to him. He proceeded to say he could see everything etc and was kind of creepy, usually I don't swear at call centre staff, even dodgy ones, but this guy was creepy!

They always call me while at work, and each time I tell them I have no time for their survey. They refuse to accept that and insist it will be very short and just proceed with their survey. I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.

This number called me at 7:36 am on a Monday morning! I'm a retired person so I don't get up before the sun and at 7:36 am the sun is still in bed in Greater Manchester. I did jump out of bed but didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. Apparently the call originated in Thanet which Google tells me is in Kent. As I know of no reason why someone from Thanet (which I'd never even heard of) should phone me at an ungodly time of day I can only assume this was a scam call.
Automated call telling me £1000 had been taken from my account for a gambling site in the USA. It then followed saying £300 had been taken to pay Amazon. Neither of these things have happened. It asked to press 1 or 3 as a follow up.
I think it is a banking scam as the voicemail said that money was paid out of my cards when it was not I then hung up

I this is a search i made for Matalan in Newcastle upon tyne I pponed the number as i wished to speak to customer servie. A male voice spoke to me saying you have reached your credit please press one to make a payment, I dony have any credit withe matalan. I thought this was a bit fishy so i blocked the number. then i asked my husband to phone the number from his old Nokia phone. the reply was. This number has been blocked. hmmm was it a scam or what. this was my experience, I hope my comments help.
