Thank you to everyone who comments on this site, it helps me to decide whether or not to block a phone number. I never ring back anyone I don t know, if they are genuine they would leave a message.

Same as others experiences here. I received calls from English speaking Indian males and females saying they are calling from Virgin Media and investigating a fault with my internet broadband. They are so obviously not from VM. I challenge them and they always hang up. As with all the other cases I had previously reported an issue to the real VM line which had already been resolved by an engineer that visited me. There must be someone at the VM call centre passing numbers and details on to these scammers. I
