So annoying was in the middle of doing something when phone rang, rushed to answer it it might have known nobody was there - no sound at all.

Called a few minutes ago, second time today, asked for accounts department, unfortunately no one was here to deal with accounts. Asked them if they would leave a message but was told they just needed to check an account balance. No more information given, not even a company name. Needless to say if they were a reputable company they would be forthcoming with info. Unfortunately for them, now, no one in the accounts department will be available for quite some time..

I have been called on my landline from this number I suspect it is a company selling something, does anybody know who it is please. I was called on a Sunday afternoon not good at all!!!!

Chap claiming to be "Jim from Unique Preferences" (with a thick Indian accent) wanted to ask me "a few simple yes or no questions". He insisted he was not trying to sell me anything. The purpose of the call was "marketing". He said his company s partners would be able to make me offers which could save me money. Called twice in 2 days. Asian sounding woman called claiming to be from TSB. I ended call immediately. I checked with TSB who confirmed they have not been calling me. Seems like a phishing scam.

This is a company that say they are a "Microsoft Certified Company", and that you have errors and malware on your computer. They then try to get you to go to www.ammyy.com, so that they can ostensibly "sort out" your problems by connecting to your computer but in reality they are trying to look for financial gain, i.e. passwords, credit card details or bank details.

Normally don t pick up unknown calls but the number was similar to one I was expecting so mistakenly answered. Think this was an Indian call centre and the guy rambled something about pensions. I said I wasn t interested. He tried to stop me from hanging up by saying it wasn t a sales call (?)... Something along the lines if pension release. I swiftly said I don t have a pension and he was no longer interested in keeping me on the call. Sounds dodgy to me... As many people say this number is Talk Talk. E
