Got call, picked up, line sounded like it was waiting for the tape recorder to go on. Hung up - but interesting to note it s a PPI number. I m ex-directory and have registered to not have unsolicited calls.

SCAM / SPAM - told me they were calling to let me know the other driver in the accident I was in wanted to accept liability. She was angry I couldn't understand her accent. There has been no accident. Still, I said wow great, this is amazing news. She hung up.
Almost certainly a call from a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Block the number on your phone. For a mobile, refer to the manufacturer...

SCAM Indian recruitment company Collabera is a SCAM. They contact me for a position with Bank of America. I've got an interview request but the links didn't work. I was contacted by the "supposed recruiter" asking me to call Bank of America. The phone I've called (this phone) does not belong to Bank of America. This phone number and several others are mapped to a telephony exchange with routes the calls to India.
