Several calls from this number usually silent, occasionally Asian voice asking for Mr. ********. My name is difficult to pronounce. I say "I ll just get him" and leave the phone in front of a loud radio or tv. What a surprise they hang up.

Called me about an accident I had on the 2nd March this year. That s news to me so they ve presumably made it up. Hung up when I questioned their information. Their number does not connect if you try to dial back.

Indian-sounding voice (female and obviously not very experienced) announced a problem with my BT broadband. I played along until she asked if I was in front of my PC. When I told her loudly I knew it was a scam, she told me to shut up several times. Ten mins later a male rang with the same story, got short shrift from me. Today it was this Brighton number, previously a Portsmouth one. I get these calls a lot!

Dopey Indian scammer trying to tell me there is something wrong with my internet, running the same old short con of getting the innocent victim to type in random commands to show something is supposedly wrong. This wasn t a particularly bright one either as only knew one cmd command before giving up. I ve had them go on up to half an hour in the past. Man with Asian accent saying my creditors are not happy with repayments. I asked who it was he said he couldn t say who. After further challenges from me he hung before threatening that debt collectors would turn up at my address - he quoted an address haven t at lived there for over 3 years!

Called twice on a saturday evening so I don t believe it s the HMRC survey others say them claimed to be. I don t use voicemail & don t answer unknown numbers so I don t know what they wanted. However, when you google their number & this page & many similar come up, it proves it s clearly a nuisance call.
