Further to my comments a few days ago, they still call, the call is answered, but there is no one there. NO REPUTABLE company would do this, or allow their partners to.

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

SCAM They called, claiming they were from some warehouse (I did not understand because the woman's foreign accent was very hard to understand). They asked me which iPhone I have to offer me some 'discount' for an upgraded plan or something. Guess what, I do not have an iPhone. I might have misunderstood something, so it is worth hearing about other people's experiences too, but for now, I consider this a scam.

They ask about personal information. Probably scam. Don t answer.

Old scam - after your data to sell onto other criminals who disregard the law. Just hang up. Good reporting them to the ICO. You don t even need to know their name, just their number. Calling from Bewiser re my car insurance. Asked me to confirm my details and gave me an old reg plate from 2 years ago. I hung up.

Barely connected. Concerned as it was quite late and that makes me think accident, sickness etc.

Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.
