They said they are Fast Claims and that the Road Traffic Accident Departmen told them I had had an accident and were fishing for information. I have been called before by them - obviously they are allowed to continue that scam unpunished.

This is a debt company called CARS asking me to confirm my name and address? I said no in at work, she said ok I ll call u back at a later time. Very sneaky as my area code is 01905 an thought it was a legitimate call.

They call and ask you for a one time payment to support a magazine to go into schools regarding bullying. ONCE. ONE TIME ONLY. You do not sign a contract, you do not enter into an agreement. They then persistently call you and ask you for more money as apparently you have entered into a contract.
