Called me, picked it up right away, waited for a hi/hello for a second and they hanged up. Probably a scam/spam call.

Called saying that they have information regarding an accident. (except the accident was an at fault by a third party while our car was at Valet Parking at Heathrow)Got very childish and shouting I m not listening when I told him I was on TPS saying that as I opted in it s excluded.

Keeps calling. I haven t answered. It left a voicemail the other day and sounded like someone breathing down the phone for about 5 seconds!

Telemarketing company selling Life insurance. I was ignored when i advised i was at work. I was ignored when I said I didn t want the product. I was ignored when i requested to be taken off their call list. I was ignored when i said a had multiple health issues so cover would be worthless. SERIOUSLY even admitted it may be useless, then get off my phone .....

Claims he is calling from a company called Assist Co, government backed, claiming that he can make me "debt free". When I asked how didn t he know that I may already be debt free, he said this is why he was calling! Told him I wasn t interested and added this number to my rejected calls list. Asked his where he got my details from, just kept on repeating that he was government backed. Cannot find any info relating to Assist Co on Google

Old scam - after your data to sell onto other criminals who disregard the law. Just hang up. Good reporting them to the ICO. You don t even need to know their name, just their number. The criminal fraudsters like Anthony Simister who run scams like TAPA like to plant stooges on these forums to discourage honest folk from contacting the ICO or Ofcom. Ignore them. These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

The chap called me and said he had a missed call from me to his mobile number. I have not called anyone today. So no clue who he was or what company he was from.

Did not answer call as number not in my contacts list. No message left on voicemail which is a bad sign. Tip if someone wants to get hold of you, they will leave a message, if no message, then either telemarketing or spam or scam callers

Called to tell me "HMRC were filing a suit against you press 1 to talk to your case worker." Calling and not specifying which ocupant of the premises they want. HAHAHAHA HMRC do not work this way! HMRC can write me if they want to file a law suit against me or they can write my partner if it is her they want! Hopefully people are getting wise to this crap, but maybe not as they keep doing it! :(
