No answer when I picked up. Part of a series of different suspicious mobile numbers to have called me since yesterday. Only one of them responded when I picked up a (an automated message supposedly from my unnamed Internet provider).

Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". I've had at least four calls from these guys (with heavy Asian accents, to the point of not being able to be understood); it is the same script, but the calls have come from a number of different phone numbers in the West Midlands. This number has called me on several occasions and leaves no message. Call back the number and it s a message from LVM on behalf of a client. Telesales. You can call them back on 0800 013 6675 and remove your number from their services. It takes up to 5 days

This was a call from refund on a BitCoin account I had 5 years ago, that I never traded with and closed down within weeks of opening. The chap couldn't give me any background or was willing to listen to what I had to say. I made it evident that I wasn't comfortable about going on my computer to access an account and he got rather aggressive in his tone. I said I wasn't happy with his tone and he turned it on me. In the end he was very rude and put the phone down on me.

Received a call from this number - computer generated voice warning me that £600 was about to be taken from my bank card
James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!
