Called from this number -- long pause before a woman (don't think it was automated because there was background noise) said something about 'Motor Satisfaction Surveys Opt Out' that I'd apparently contacted them about (which I haven't) and told me to ring

Telemarketing scum seem to have got a new contract, as although others suggest they called on behalf of Orange, I am with Vodafone.
I see they tried to call me, but as I have a BT8500 telephone, their attempt to speak to me was denied. Since having the BT8500 I don't receive ANY unwanted calls - I love...
Fraud. It seems they impersonate an official Police office. They know your details, name etc. When challenged, they cut short the call. Quite smart scam
SCAM / SPAM automated call - called to ask me about the accident I apparently had recently!
