SCAM - Heavily accented man telling me my Amazon Prime account is set to renew and would I like to cancel it. When I said yes, I'd like to cancel it, he tried to get me to download Anydesk onto my PC. I told him outright that I knew he was trying to take over my computer and he became very aggitated.

This number called me today telling me that my internet is being cut off. I’ve had plenty before and just block them. This guy is clearly a crook. Maybe time for the police to investigate.

Company claiming to be Loan Mart. It s a British number. But when phoned the dail tone is the international one. Got offered a loan was asked to pay first months up front which I did. Then was asked to pay extra for PPI. Asked for my money back and told them I would report them to the police if it wasn t returned. Got abusive and threatened me with legal action for cancelling then hung up. Reported them to the FCA and police. And reported it to my bank. One day later and still no refund. SCAM DO NOT SEND MO

"Michael" rang me from Microsoft Customer Services in Manchester (he did not have a Manchester accent, more like Mumbai I would think) to warn me my computer had been hacked. I told him it was just going out and could I have a number to call him back on. He gave me this one which seems, having read various posts, to be one available to all manner of scammers.
