Had a call from this number today. Automated voice message saying someone trying to use £800 from debit card for a gambling place in the USA. They said they was from the fraud team. It also said they were not letting that £800 to come off debit card until I had spoken to someone. It tells you to press 1 to speak to an agent. At the end of the end ,whether you are a British Gas customer or not , if you have not given British Gas your permission to call you , then it is a harrassment call. The other thing to bear in mind is , unless you make the call , how do you really know who it is who has called you?
