Claiming to be Virgin Media, do,nt believe a word . Already had one call today claiming to be BT about broadband, seems like these scammers keep trying until they find someone vulnerable enough to believe them.

This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All of them are used for some kind of telemarketing (sometimes also cold calling), seems to be working for non-profit organizations (Cancer Research UK and similar), but in fact nuisance. People did someone answer this number?

Just received a phonecall on landline. Although they said the right surname, did not have a correct first name, so terminated the call. They did say they would remove my number!

I have just had a call from someone purporting to be from the Natwest Fraud department, who then told me there was a problem with my debit card. They even gave the name on the card which was a woman called Kirsty. I am a man, and have never been called Kirsty - nor do I know anyone called Kirsty (I won't reveal the other details in case Kirsty is a real person). My assumption is that these people give a false name so that you call them back to say they have the wrong person and they follow this by getting y
This number has begin to be a nuisance. Think it's a call centre but being clever by masquerading under my dialling code. I have caller display and never answer unknown numbers.
