If they would speak and say what they were calling for,
An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.
Called me to say I was in an accident some time in 2014 - 2015 and I was due compensation. Rubbish!

Have just returned to the UK and found my answerphone clogged up from calls from this company. I have since answered one call (27:03:12) from a person called Andrew claiming he could reduce my Orange broadband fees. He was very evasive when I asked him questions regarding how he had got my telephone number as I was on the TPS list at which he put the phone down on me.

Oh dear I m not the only one. had £79.99 taken from my account today. I am unemployed at the moment and the promise of a £20.00 fuel voucher for answering a survey was very attractive. What can be done? has anyone managed to get their money back?
Charged by Vodafone for texting abroad to this number which is rather strange seeing as I am in the uk!
