this call comes from the all inclusive club trying to sell cheap holidays at all inclusive hotels. Once you have bought into the scheme they bombard you with calls trying to get more money out of you. its impossible to ring back on the number to tell them to stop ringing as well, as you get the "line discontinued" tone. Comes from a call centre abroad i think. I ve had numerous calls over the last few days and each time i answered they just hung up on me, so not answering them anymore.

It IS Advantis, which I understand is a collection agency with gov contracts, but I, WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER, have NO debt, never mind outstanding debt, and I am DEFINITELY NOT connected to any HMRC "issues", either myself or vicariously. These are both premium-rate, non-geographic numbers, and if they have called you, probably spoofed anyway - they tend to be used for TV/radio phone-in competitions.

This is apparently a genuine number for FedEx but it's been hi-jacked by a 'BT' scammer using a recorded message saying they've monitored suspicious activity. I cut the call then tried to dial 1471 but the line was still engaged and I had to try a couple more times before it cleared.
