Because if you see the domain name of the email, it is clear that its not carphonewarehouse. SCAM - recorded message saying my internet will be stopped in a matter of hours due to a faulty router. So amateurish it doesn't even try and guess at your provider and have any decent information. Clear, unprofessional scam of the highest order. Must be teenagers, and rather thick ones at that.

Text Message - SCAM Not a call but got a text from this number, supposedly from "Hermes", with what is obviously a fake weblink as they apparently 'missed' me yesterday in a claim that they tried to deliver something. Told them to p off, that I know it's a scam, to lose my number and blocked them.

Fraud - Robotic call advising HMRC Tax Fraud case against me. Demanding I MUST press 1 otherwise there will be serious consequences.. Dialled off, reported, blocked number. HMRC wold NEVER contact anyone in this way.
From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.

This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM
