SCAM Asian sounding lady called "Lisa Williams" apparently calling about my bt openreach box experiencing problems.I don't have bt, told where to go. This seems to be a pattern of using the surname Williams, I'm expecting Robbie to phone me next as I've had "Charles"on the phone too lol!
SCAM Automated message said it was Inland Revenue and that I hadn't paid my taxes. To avoid a court date and possible jail time press 1 to speak to an agent. A trace says the number originates in Russia. No chance I believe any of that rubbish.

Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. Yet more thieving scumbags who should be ashamed of themselves.

When told I work full time, received a copy and pasted answer about it being home-based which can be done at my convenience. Definitely not trustworthy.. One of those too good to be true scenarios but did eventually give up once I said I was not interested a couple of time

Hoax claiming to be from "service provider". Indian call centre, bad line.
Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. I received a WhatsApp message from this number apparently A&A recruitment limited Birmingham asking if full-time or part-time employment suited me. I live in Northern Ireland and have not signed up for any recruitment. Don't know if it's spam or trying to get personal information to scam/rip off people but I would be cautious.

This caller is not my doctor/ friend/work/family, so I simply have blocked them. unfortunately they pop up every day in the optimiser part of my phone despite me blocking their number.
