BEWARE..these are scammers trying to get you to call their ‘bank helpline’ to check about apparently unauthorised debits from your bank account. I hate people who do this. The automated female voice is realistic but banks never do this sort of stunt. BEWARE!
SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. Getting so fed up with calls from this number, and others including what appear as mobiles, telling me that my "home appliance insurance" with them has expired, or is about to expire, and asking for my bank details so that it can be renewed. Very strange that the company insuring me (they're not, of course) has no idea what appliances I have. Calls coming 2-4 times each day.
Called me at 06:39 on Saturday 17 December 2022, which was annoying. No-one on the other end. May just have been accidental or may have been something else.

Known scam 0845 and 0843 numbers call for a second or two. They rely on you to call back as the number looks official. You are then played a recorded message that is designed to keep you on the line as the call is charged at over a £1 per minute. So you end up paying for the scam and your phone company probably won't help as you made the call willingly.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. Apparently from Scottish Government in relation to Ipsos Mori survey, wanting to do a survey of my home. I don’t know the number so I’m not answering. If it’s that bloody important, LEAVE A MESSAGE AND I CAN PHONE YOU BACK!!!! Have called multiple times a day for over a week. It’s getting annoying.

This number called me, I am located in south of England, at 1251 local time (GMT) informing me my Internet would be turned off within one hour and offered me various people to talk to in order to avoid this. It sounds very much like a scam for either hacking my system, or extracting money from my account. I would suggest this number is potentially a scam and should be upgraded to rating 8, 9 or 10.
FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!

An innocuous text message "Where are you? I am waiting for you?" but from an unrecognised number and the fact that it has already been searched 124 times in the last 2 weeks make me suspect that this is some sort of SCAM.
