Out of courtesy I rang back in the morning, as I had been expecting someone important to call and wondered whether it was the person I wanted it to be. Insurance scam cold call twice 12.12.2022 at 12:59 and 15:19. When asked what they were trying to sell me, they closed the call. On the second occassion when I asked where they had obtained my number, they closed the call. I've now blocked.

SCAM / SPAM 01484305524 Electronic female American voice purporting to be from Amazon. Doesn't ask for a name just launches into spiel. So far 3x calls today, all using different phone numbers, and numerous previous "Amazon" calls over past weeks using different numbers. Tend to be worse on a Thursday. I've signed up to the TPS service by they still keep coming through. Why can't somebody stop these devious crooks?
