Called today, appeared to know my name, not sure how! Said she was calling to help get the best deals for utilities and insulation. Thanked her and said not necessary. I do not deal with unsolicited calls or invitations.
The number rang me but when answered did not respond at all and went quiet , suspicious.
I would encourage anyone who is unfamiliar with crypto trading to exercise extreme caution while investing or to avoid crypto altogether. I was obliged to deposit a huge portion of my life savings on a forex platform to gain more profit where I lost about 150,000USD to this evil scheme. Automated call, claiming to be from a bank (not specified) to inform me two payments had been made on a card. One to Amazon, and one an international transfer. Asked to press 1 to cancel, and another number to be transferred. This is the third call received in less than a week from similar numbers.
Got a call from this number this morning. Silent call. I suspect scammers may be impersonating this number. The number is legit, it's a genuine company, but it could be scammers are spoofing their real number and stealing their number to look like this one instead.

This number is a genuine number but it has been spoofed by unscrupulous people. I called the number back and they have advised of the above and to ignore the call coming from that number. The genuine people are lovely, it’s the people using the number (spoofing it) that are the problem
It's CCS media - Bradford based tech supplier. Legit company if you already work with them. I've never known them to cold call for sales either, so should be safe.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
