This person called asking for a person I hadn't herd of and was very rude and abrupt.

Number keeps calling then hanging up when answered

Two calls from these CLINTS today so far. Silence when I answered. These ass holes are blighting my landline. If I started calling a random person and doing this BT would trace the calls and the police, quite rightly, would be down on me like a ton of bricks. I m a little person you see. I am expected to obey the law and pay my taxes or face the consequences. The law doesn t apply to big business though. They can do what they like and the government does sod all about it. It s all very well for too

Recruitment agency that kept ringing and leaving voicemails every few minutes. Pushy and unwanted. One call and voicemail would be sufficient .Wouldnt deal with any company like this.

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Over the last two weeks this number has tried to call me on both my mobile and home phone. I've ignored mobile calls and on picking up land line the number has cut off.

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

had 2 calls from this company answered on both occasions. they claimed to be a debt consolodation company and wanted to help with my debts. I had 4 calls on the same day from 4 different companys offering the same service and everyday since ive been getting text messages from loan companys. I did however ask "cleanslate" for a contact number to contact them and they was unable to give me one. obviously a scam

Rang 11.am 16th March but no answer to my "Hello". Could hear typical call-centre background sounds before the line went dead.

This is I believe a Manchester UK Local area number left on my 1471 record. I do not recognise the number. On the tellows lokup, it comes up as an Indian number. I ll notify you if it calls again. The captcha looked like diw64, the d was mistaken for a p in the distorted image.

It’s a scam! Claiming to be HMRC. Avoid, just hang up.

A missed call from this number; no message left. Pity we can t autoforward these coldcallers and scammers directly to the authorities, so that they get as cheesed off as us!
