They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.

This was a scam call claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently through OpenTable, they got my card info before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. SCAM Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Probably a scam. Indian young male trying to present as being from a company I did not understand as pronounced by him. He became annoyed and started using a nasty tone and nasty words. Realising has no chances, he hung up the phone and, probably moved to another "customer".
