Trying to request remote access to my phone stating they are Amazon and its the only way I can cancel my subscription to Prime which I don't have

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)

From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Anonymous, 371 is the country code for Latvia, and 00 is not an access code for London for anyone dialling from abroad, that would have to be 00 44 20, then an eight digit number.

They re a bunch of prats with nothing better to do than flog any old crap for clients and their call redirection service will show different locations where the call came from.
