I received a text message (on my mobile) apparently from TalkTalk confirming the date for an engineers visit. As I hadn't booked a call, I rang from a withheld number to cancel the booking. I was kept hanging on the phone by the operator who told me my account had been locked by the previous operator and she couldn't access the details. Been called by this number - each time it didn't stay on the line long enough for it to even ring, however the network sends me a missed call alert each time so I know I've had a call. No message of course so definitely a call centre.

Only thing is, I did check my package and changed it about 10days ago so…either sky are really poorly run and don’t know what they are doing with their so-called “loyal” customers or…. It was a scam.
