This number calls several times a day, but hangs up prior to being able to answer. When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. Just another scam / harassment call - this is what I thought the telephone preference scheme was supposed to be stopping !!!

BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.

I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). Medicare partnership calling people over 60 to sell them the home alarm systems (pendant fall alarms). I am horrified that they call like that vulnerable people trying to sell them a lifeline. SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
