Scam call supposedly from BT

Answered this number. Had to say hello three times before someone who named herself as Lisa said she had a record of me being in a car accident. I said no you have incorrect info. She went quiet for a few seconds then proceeded to say how did the accident happen and I said no you do not have the right information and in the middle of me saying please take my number off your system she just hung up. Tried calling back to complain but surprise surprise the number is not recognised.

Another load of con artists using the phone to try and extort money from gullible people. In my eyes these deadbeats are only one step from criminal. Who in their right mind would do business or give bank details over the phone, and to a unknown voice at an office or house with no address? You don t know these people, you don t know their location, you don t know their reputation, you don t even know what country they are ringing from!This is just telephone SPAM. I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Told them to take me off the list, we ll see if I get anymore calls.

I am totally sick of this company ringing my house. Been going on for more than three years now and I am sick of asking them not to keep calling my house. Some times they call up to 6 times a day. They rang yesterday and then hung up before I got to phone. I rang 1471 and I have numerous problems with my arms and hands and pressed 3 by mistake and returned the call. Now I have been charged an extra ?7 pound on my bill for that call. Not happy.
