I ve been called daily by this number but I have a call blocker on my android phone called "Truecaller" (I am not a salesman) which filtered it straight away. It does have apps but is very effective for nuisance callers. Hope this helps.

Claim to be an insurance company calling about accident you re not to blame for. No indication of asking to confirm name or of any accident date.

NEVER give any information to cold callers.

I had two calls from this number, missed the first one. It was a man asking if I'd been involved in a car accident within the last two and a half years, you know the rest...!

I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

I have received calls at my home land line number as well as my mobile . However I do not answer these types of call numbers . My real complaint is that I have a new number as my old number is now my business line , they do not ring that though just my new one and no one has been given that apart from family and close friends !!So how did they get it ?
