DON T GIVE IN TO THEIR TRICKS OF MAKING RANDOM CALLS AND THEN HOPING THAT 1%-5% OF THE ONES THAT ANSWER DO FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS. BUT SOMEONE SHOULD CALL THEM BACK AND PRETEND TO BE SOME INDIAN ACCENT TALKER OR JUST GET BACK AT THEM THE SAME WAY THEY DO TO YOU! US! Called to ask if he could discuss the cost of funerals in my area. I said my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. He said I m sorry for the mistake - but am I aware of the cost of funerals. I asked if he was aware of how the TPS worked and he said yes, but he would still like to discuss the cost of funerals, is that s ok?. Calling a private number that they shouldn't have

kept getting this no. dial my home. did not call call.

Just received a call from this number which said I had a text message but the message was garbled. Phoned our friend who was in a London hospital thinking it was him and he had sent by accident a text message to our landline which resulted in this call. It must be the message service operated by BT but doesn t appear to work very well.

Most of these calls originate from outside the UK so the rules or laws have no effect.
